Grown in the highlands of Kirishima, Kagoshima, this sencha is crafted from the rare Okuyutaka cultivar and produced as a single-origin tea.
Okuyutaka has a very short harvesting window, requiring careful timing to pick the leaves at their peak. This tea is lightly steamed (asamushi), allowing the cultivar’s naturally refined aroma to shine through.
